En la noche del martes se realizó una nueva reunión entre los dirigentes de River y los representantes de Nacho Fernández.
De dicha reunión se supo que llegaron a un acuerdo para extender y mejorar el contrato del zurdo, por el que tanto pidió Marcelo Gallardo.
Ya está todo acordado de palabra que el jugador extenderá se contrato hasta el 2023, con un considerable aumento en los números de su vínculo, transformándolo en uno de los mejores pagos del plantel.
Solamente resta que Nacho firme el contrato en las oficinas del Monumental una vez que haya regresado a Buenos Aires.
